Born in Vienna
[edit]Julius Meinl V. is born in Vienna, not London. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.115.217.64 (talk) 21:54, 16 December 2014 (UTC)
Rewrite
[edit]Probably should be rewritten by a native english speaker. Somewhat unclear/incoherent/incomplete. 129.105.196.213 19:10, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

Title of article has errant "period"
[edit]the man's name is "Julius Meinl V" (the "V" meaning he is the fifth (in the family, probably direct lineage but not sure) in a line of men named "Julius Meinl" there is no "period" following a "II", "III" "IV" or "V" designation. i can fix the text (first sentence) but am not skilled (yet) in changing article names.--71.183.238.134 (talk) 13:34, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
- I agree. All of the Julius Meinl articles that exist should be corrected. Apparently in German this ending 'period' (.) is used, but not in English. --SidP (talk) 06:26, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
Inaccuracies
[edit]The Bio is mostly false: Meinl was not raised jewish. The family was always roman catholic. Meinls grandfather himself did not have to flee the nazis, he fled the nazis because of his jewish wife. Meinls great grandfather always stayed in vienna like the rest if the family because they were not jewish. The British papers cited are telling false stories. 178.115.248.146 (talk)
