First Elected Communist Government?
[edit]The article claims that his government was the first democratically elected communist government in the world in 1957, but San Marino elected a communist government in 1945. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.6.158.103 (talk) 17:32, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
- Interesting. It seems that both the Kerala (Namboodiripad) government in 1957 and the San Marino government in 1945 were coalition governments. I wonder who was the senior partner in each case, and whether the head of government in each case came from the communist party. If the cases are not equivalent that might account for the claim (i.e. if San Marino never had a communist head of state and if they were always junior partners). I looked at the relevant webpage for San Marino, Sammarinese Communist Party, and there were no references at all. I just added two references. It would be great if someone would want to expand the page. Presearch (talk) 18:38, 1 October 2011 (UTC)

There is an RfC on the question of using "Religion: None" vs. "Religion: None (atheist)" in the infobox on this and other similar pages.
The RfC is at Template talk:Infobox person#RfC: Religion infobox entries for individuals that have no religion.
Please help us determine consensus on this issue. --Guy Macon (talk) 05:27, 23 April 2015 (UTC)
