New York Times
[edit]The reference to the New York Times declaring Savitt World No. 1 leads to a paywall, which I understand is not allowable here. Does that reference exist in some other publication to which a link can be made? Or, alternatively, can the sentence declaring Savitt World No. 1 be quoted so that the statement is clarified? It should be possible to clear this up.Tennisedu (talk) 20:56, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
- Non-paywalled references are preferred on wikipedia (if available), but paywalled references are allowed. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Citing_sources Tennishistory1877 (talk) 22:58, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
