I didn't realize there was a draft for this wrestler until after I wrote up an article. Presenting here for review and possible draft submission. JRHorse (talk) 15:40, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, forgot to ping @Konbinimasuta, @Pawnkingthree, @ArguaBILL. JRHorse (talk) 19:58, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'd personally say that this article is now good enough to submit for review, but I'll also say not to submit it based on my sole opinion. ArguaBILL (talk) 20:47, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that it's good enough to submit. Pawnkingthree (talk) 21:14, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Okay I can go and plunge ahead with that. Thanks, JRHorse (talk) 22:14, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Churanoumi and Ichinojo

[edit]

The article has been published. Reviewer added a few cite tags. One was addressed (reaching 10 wins) but the other concerns Churanoumi defeating Ichinojo while in high school. Although this is mentioned in the Japanese wikipedia article, it does not appear to be sourced (at least to me). Should this be removed unless something can be dug up in news sources? JRHorse (talk) 00:08, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I would remove it. I don't think it's that notable anyway - Tottori Jōhoku has produced so many sekitori in recent years that it's not really surprising that two of them faced each other. Pawnkingthree (talk) 02:27, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your input. I removed the sentence. JRHorse (talk) 22:48, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@ArguaBILL found a reference from the Tottori Board of Education. Thanks very much! JRHorse (talk) 11:54, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome; I also added the source to the Japanese Wikipedia article's equivalent to the sentence. ArguaBILL (talk) 11:56, 10 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
