Hi Wiki users, does it need to be stated that Chelsea FC are currently on a winning streak that will see them equal or surpass the longest English Premier League winning streak? They only need 3 straight wins (against Bournemouth, Stoke City and Tottenham Hotspurs) to surpass the record set by Arsenal for the "most consecutive number of Premier League wins" which is 13. ...'the only London Club to win the champions-league'

Maybe it is better, to change the passage into: ...'and the first british football club to achieve this' (being one of only 5 clubs that have won the three major european football-competitions). I’ve had a season ticket since 1985 and watch games with people who have been attending since the 40’s. I don’t think my dad’s programme collection from the 50’s & 60’s or a couple of blokes who still have season tickets to both clubs are checkable facts. Yet the introductory section is deliberately worded to make it seem like Chelsea's recent success and the Abramovich takeover are completely unrelated events, which is highly deceptive and inaccurate. Recognition of Chelsea's involvement in the UK Sexual Abuse Scandal (2016)

I'm proposing the following section be added. There is no mention of this major part of Chelsea history in the article. Crewe Alexandra, similarly involved, has GA certification & a dedicated section. I think a Public Profile section would be best. Major part of Chelsea history? It seems redundant to me since the issue is the actions of two individuals who once worked for the club. Probably also fails WP:UNDUE and WP:Criticism.

Moreover, there have also been investigations into former employees of Celtic, Man City, Bolton, Newcastle, Leeds, Man Utd, Stoke City, Aston Villa and Arsenal amongst many others and none of those articles mention it.

Those templates are not supposed to be displayed on mobile devices - that was a deliberate decision by the developers because they don't work properly and they create a huge amount of HTML bloat. The collapse template isn't a good solution either because it doesn't work on mobile devices properly - the collapsing functionality is disabled. I think it would be better to wait for the developers to come up with a proper way of rendering navboxes on mobile rather than coming up with hacky work-arounds 192.76.8.74 (talk) 04:34, 30 August 2021 (UTC)

The first paragraph incorrectly states that Chelsea are the only English club to have won the three major active UEFA competitions. The active UEFA competitions are Champions League, Europa League, Conference League, and Super Cup. If we omit the Super Cup as "not major" then Chelsea have not won conference league. If we include Super Cup and omit Conference League as Major, then Man United and Liverpool have won all three, as well. If this line is meant to indicate the three historically biggest UEFA competitions, the Champions League, Europa League, and Cup Winners Cup, then again it is incorrect as Manchester United have also won all three. An accurate statement would be that Chelsea were the first English club to win the original three major UEFA competitions. Merging and creation of sections

There has been some large scale changes to multiple sections being merged by a new user @Abra_mo_vich2012. While I have no qualms with edits to some sections unfortunately I do not agree with any of these section changes and merges. This page like every Premier League team follows a set Manual of Style set out by Wikipedia:WikiProject_Football/Clubs. Any changes to these manuals of styles would need broad consensus both here and at the Wikiproject page. Why_no_rivalry_w_Man_Utd

My apologies. I would like to remove the line in the first paragraph that mentions Chelsea's developing rivalry with Liverpool in the section titled "Rivalries" and instead create a new paragraph underneath the first one explaining that the rivalry with Liverpool developed due to repeated clases in cup competitions, then go into detail regarding the various meetings the two teams have had, such as the 2005 Champions League Semi-final, the 2005 League Cup Final and the meeting at Anfield in the 2013-14 Premier League and explain the outcomes of each.
