Map

The distribution map should include Denmark, where it is widespread and common. --Episcophagus (talk) 12:25, 7 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

LHC power cut

[edit]

The news media has incorrectly reported this: the beech marten didn't chew on a wire; rather it jumped on a wire causing an electrical arc leading to the power glitch.

Name

[edit]

There's'not a word about why it's call'd a beech marten. Eric Kvaalen (talk) 12:54, 12 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

mountain lions preying on beech martens

[edit]

I'm wondering how "mountain lions may prey on adults", considering the mountain lion is exclusive to the new world, while beech martins live only in Europe and Asia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.120.181.112 (talk) 13:58, 17 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
