Cherrypicking - NPOV tag

[edit]

There is a lot of information being left out from one of the sources being used in the opening material that details the nature of the complaints Bolivia have with Mexico. Only a one-sided view is presented in this part of the text as per WP:Cherrypicking. [1] Crmoorhead (talk) 09:38, 31 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I included some statements from the political crisis article, but I agree there's more work that could be done. Former Bolivian president Quiroga held a press conference where he addressed several of the issues. --Jamez42 (talk) 10:21, 31 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I added a lot of responses from the Bolivian government and other sources and criticisms, but there are outstanding comments on the more general situation of the asylum and Morales' conduct that are lacking from the original source quoted above. Also made some corrections where the statements were outright contradicting the source material.Crmoorhead (talk) 15:12, 31 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. I've noticed that WP:OR it's an significant problem in articles about recent Latin American politics articles, so it's usually helpful to check the sources. --Jamez42 (talk) 15:55, 31 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Jamez42: Is it too premature to remove the NPOV tag? Crmoorhead (talk) 10:07, 4 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Crmoorhead: I reviewed the article for a last time and it look in good shape. I have no problem removing the tag, unless another editor needs to add something. --Jamez42 (talk) 10:59, 4 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
