Zenivio Morientes Gostavo Conceição Mota (born 22 April 2005 in Ainaro), simply known as Zenivio Mota or just Zenivio is a Timorese footballer currently playing for Singapore Premier League club Tanjong Pagar United and the Timor-Leste national team.[1]
Club career
SLB Laulara
Zenivio started his professional career at the age of 16 playing for SLB Laulara in the Liga Futebol Amadora in 2021.
Kirivong Sok Sen Chey
On 29 June 2023, Zenivio moved to Cambodia to joined Cambodian Premier League club, Kirivong Sok Sen Chey. He make his club debut on 5 August in a league match against Visakha where he played the full 90th minutes. On 10 December, Zenivio scored a brace in a 2–2 draw against Prey Veng.
Tanjong Pagar United
On 26 April 2024, Zenivio moved to Singapore Premier League club Tanjong Pagar United in which he became the first Timorese player to play in the league.
International career
Youth
Zenivio made four appearances during 2020 AFC U-16 Championship qualification. He scored one goal in the team's Group Stage victory over Macau.[2][3][4] In October 2021 he appeared in all three of Timor-Leste's 2022 AFC U-23 Asian Cup qualification matches.[3] In the final match of the Group Stage he scored his team's only goal in a 1–0 victory over the Philippines.[5][6]
Senior
Two months later on 5 December 2021 Zenivio made his senior international debut in a 2020 AFF Championship match against Thailand at 16-years old. He made three appearances in the competition, all as a substitute.[1]
