== Early life ==
Sigridur Hrund was born on 12 January 1974 in [[Kópavogur]], [[Iceland]] to Pétur Einarsson and Arndís Björnsdóttir. She and her family moved to the western part of [[Reykjavík]] in 1979 before her parents divorced in 1984. Sigridur met Baldur Ingvarsson entrepreneur and investor (education Master in Carpentry) in 1996 and the pair married on 12 July 2003, they have 4 children and currently live in [[Kópavogur]]. Sigridur has a [[Master of Business Administration]] from the University of Reykjavik and a [[Master of Science]] in Strategy and Business Administration from the [[University of Iceland]] alongside a [[Bachelor of Arts]] in French from the same university, all gained between 1997 and 2003. == Career ==
Sigridur Hrund founded Vinnupallar in 2017 with her husband and was elected as Chairman of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs on 19 May 2021 for a two-year term after having served as a Board Member in the Association from 2019. In the winter of 2023, Sigridur served the Association on the International Committee, she is also a Board Member of the Association of Women of Higher Education in Iceland and is an active member of BPW - Business Professional Women.
