- 18:3818:38, 4 January 2024 diff hist −499 Ghazni Quoting André Wink about Afghanistan is liké quoting Marcel Granet about Mongolia. His claims contradictory. Claiming Ghazni to be part of the Indian subcontinent until the 9th century makes no sense to begin with because the idea of an Indian subcontinent dates only from a couples of decades. Wink's own claimed Arab sources say that today's Ghazni is part of the Khorasan marches, Indian sources themselves considered greater Ghazni and greater Kabul to be barbarians i.e not Indian. - 02:1502:15, 3 January 2024 diff hist −539 Kabulistan Never was the region considered part of the Indian subcontinent since the Indian subcontinent is a recent concept which stops on its western side in Pakistan. Secondly the region historically was never considered part of Al Hind too whether during Abbasid or later periods. It was considered something between Al Khorasan and Al Hind, or even sometimes an extension of Khorasan (cf Khorasan Marches). It's well knows its inhabitants were Iranics (Kambojans/Kapisean people and other various tribes). Tags: Reverted references removed Visual edit Mobile edit Mobile web edit
