Anyone with the slightest knowledge knows that the shahname uses LESS arabic vocabulary than other works of its time possibly due to ferdowsi’s personal preferences or because of his dependancy on old sources for information. Please refer to the encyclopedia iranica page about the Shahnameh and Arabic words for more information. It may also be talked about in the Shahnameh wiki page. - 03:5803:58, 25 July 2022 diff hist −255 Abu Lu'lu'a Firuz Changed Shittes to Iranians. Iranians are the main people celebrating the death of Umar. Omar Koshon is not celebrated in any other country other than Iran. Not sure where the idea of Omar Koshon being a "Shiite" celebration instead of an "Iranian" celebration (which is widely supported by most reliable sources of the event) Tags: Reverted references removed Visual edit
- 03:3703:37, 25 July 2022 diff hist −392 Abu Lu'lu'a Firuz Changed the paragraph describing Sunni accounts of what occured and informed the reader of biases held by those who presented these accounts. Also changed the link to "Anti sunni" to a link to the iranian nationalism wikipedia article. This section of the article is too biased to be acceptable. The festivals are not anti-Sunni; they are nationalistic. Tags: Reverted references removed Visual edit
- 03:2103:21, 25 July 2022 diff hist +281 Abu Lu'lu'a Firuz Sources stating that Abu Lulu'a killed Umar are severyly biased. more accurate sources state what I wrote. I also moved the hurmuzan name and link to article earlier on the article since his name was required earlier in the previous paragraph in order to describe the account of Umars death.
