Greetings. I noticed that you had moved Priyanka Chahar to Priyanka Choudhary‎. The latter title had been create-protected after two delete results at AfD, and the current version of the article looks (to me) little different from the version at Draft:Priyanka Choudhary which has been declined repeatedly. Furthermore, the saga of this article includes at least three different SPIs (1, 2, 3). I'm considering taking this back to AfD, but first I wanted to inquire as to how aware you were of this sordid history before you made the move. Thanks. --<b style="color: green;">Finngall</b> talk 18:38, 16 February 2023 (UTC)

:No, I haven't checked the related AFD and SPI history before moving the article. It is the same actress, but I can't tell if the article was created by a new sock; maybe checkusers who handled those SPIs can tell more. The user TheWanderer9 has been blocked indefinably for his Disruptive editing on the page Caste system in Kerala. There are still his long disruptive pov pushes on the page which has not been reverted. Hasty Blocks

Is there any particular reason why you seem to be hastily blocking IPs after only one vandal edit or disallowed filter hit? Unless they're some LTA I'm not aware of, nothing seems particularly egregious to the point of needing to be blocked immediately with only a single (or even no) warning. Taking Out The Trash (talk) 21:42, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Seriously, please slow down. There's no need to be blocking users for only a single routine run-of-the-mill vandalism edit. That's what warnings are for. If these users are some LTA, please indicate that in the block logs. Thanks. Taking Out The Trash (talk) 21:45, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
During rush hours (of vandalism) this does save articles from attacks by two or more IPs (or IP + editor). Huggle patrollers often miss overlapping edits. Materialscientist (talk) 21:47, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That doesn't explain, for example, special:Contributions/Trethyz, a registered account that you indefblocked after only one edit, and that one edit was merely an unexplained removal of content, probably the mildest form of vandalism that exists. Taking Out The Trash (talk) 21:49, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Edit + 3 edit filter attempts + adding random text while removing = block. I am always keen to see their explanation and lift the block. Materialscientist (talk) 21:52, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
(by talk reader) For someone editing with the moniker Taking Out The Trash you are quite sanguine on this issue. Having taken a clean start are you still sympathetic to such misbehavior? It seems to me any real countervandal would welcome every block possible. Chris Troutman (talk) 21:55, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
For what it's worth, Trethyz popped up in CU logs as part of long-term abuse. Materialscientist (talk) 00:38, 12 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Accusation of vandalism on Sir Thomas Rich, 1st Baronet article

I assume your reference to vandalism is this edit (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:MobileDiff/1133282379).

The only reason I made this edit is this comment ("Some say that his second wife (and widow), Elizabeth (Cockayne) Fanshawe, remarried to Sir Thomas Rich, Baronet, but that is an error: the Elizabeth Cockayne who married Sir Thomas Rich was also a daughter of a William Cockayne, but a different William: Merchant, Citizen and Skinner of London") which appears in the Thomas Fanshawe, 1st Viscount Fanshawe article. I figured if there is any discrepancy or dispute as to which William Cockayne is being referenced (and it is immaterial in the sentence in which it is mentioned) then better to just remove it. Obviously it's impossible to leave any significant portion of the above as an edit summary.

However if this is the edit in question, there is no vandalism.

Yours,

107.122.161.41 (talk) 01:20, 13 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I see no any accusation of vandalism on my part. On the contrary, after reading your explanation I've restored your changes. Materialscientist (talk) 01:23, 13 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I was referring to your vandalism warning (not sure what level) message on my talk page: "Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Sir Thomas Rich, 1st Baronet, you may be blocked from editing. Materialscientist (talk) 01:02, 13 January 2023 (UTC)"
Anyway, just didn't want you to think that is what I was doing. 107.122.161.41 (talk) 01:34, 13 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Citing newspaper staff

I noticed your revert of a change to staff in The Daily Pennsylvanian.

Since I was unsure whether a citation should be provided for each position, I checked a handful of other student newspapers (e.g. The Wesleyan Argus), but of the several I checked, there weren't any citations for staff positions, even though they included at least an editor-in-chief. So the convention seems to be to omit citations for student newspaper staff. Fabrickator (talk) 02:25, 13 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"I checked a handful of other student newspapers" is not a justification, non-trivial facts should be cited to reliable sources. Materialscientist (talk) 02:27, 13 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'm new to Wikipedia

I'm not sure if this is how to respond to your message, but I wanted to respond. I just started editing Wikipedia tonight and I thought I'd start with Steve Green's page because I know a lot about him. Each time I edited something I was learning how to do it and I didn't know how to add references. Thanks for your message. I'm still not sure how to add citations or even message as I'm still learning. I got my information from Steve Green Ministries about section. If you'd like to collaborate, I'm open to that provided I can figure it all out. Thanks. Blessings to you. The Remains (band)

You reverted my changes to The Remains (band) page at https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=The_Remains_(band)&oldid=1133014037, saying "but you didn't provide a source." However - I did cite two sources for the additions: https://www.allmusic.com/album/live-1969-mw0003127272 for information about the album and https://sundazed.com/the-remains-live-1969.aspx for the quotation. Notably, AllMusic is commonly accepted on Wikipedia as a reliable source for many musical pages. I am Bisong Vincent and I edited The Boki's article as an indigene and member of the Local Government Council executive with full understanding about Boki as an area.

What I put up there is a primary information and I don't really know what sources is worth citing here as this is going to be the first most comprehensive article about the said location "Boki".

Jeff Beck semi-protection for a week

I haven't really dug down the rabbit hole to see what the usual precedent is, but do you think autoconfirmed protection for a week might have been a bit much? I'm only asking because a recent death of such a highly regarded musician is likely the best time to get productive edits from the people that have a resurged fondness these past few days, and it may (or may not) have been a big help in getting him listed at WP:ITN, given the sorry state of his article. I'm curious if it's possible (as in, "could it be done", not "can you do this to his article now") to set pending changes for new accounts while keeping semi-protection from IPs? Or (food for thought) if pending changes might be better overall for recently deceased individuals? Floydian τ ¢ 17:02, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ciao Materialscientist: Just a quick note to thank you for your notification regarding my edits to this article. With respect, I have restored the edits in so far as the Wikipedia Classical Music Project has specifically posted a warning at the top of the article advising against using an info box on this article. The warning reads "!-- Please do not insert info box as per guidelines for Wikipedia Classical Music Project--" and is visible with the article's text at the top of the article's page whenever one attempts to edit the article. Each of the other edits merely relate to the size of the External Link Boxes or photographs in order to also improve the readability of the text and eliminate unnecessary crowding of text in the article. Kindly see the talk page on the article for additional information. I hope this is OK. Thanks again for your assistance understanding and best wishes for your continued success editing. Editing war

You have blocked me from making any more changes on the Inglorious Wikipedia saying that we are getting into an edit war. The person who is named as Gill Preston for the last six months has been putting up content to provoke a reaction not information on the band

They have stolen the name Gill Preston from an official member from my office who has that name

They have also changed song lyrics to be homophobic connotations

And they are also changing all the dates of the members of the band to saying they have left.

We are the management of the band and will not take such hostile comments. Please also be aware that this person is being traced via cyber agency

Homophobic comments are now seen as a hate crime.

We will always be open to official changes

But not those of hate.

If you have any concerns please feel free to email us, the management of the band. As I was unable to message you until now because you blocked me. 2A00:23C8:8002:1D01:82F:CA4F:28C:DE87 (talk) 13:51, 24 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I know, sorry, your edit mixed up with vandalism. That said, I would avoid using templates for cosmetic reasons - see Help:Template limits. Even before hitting that limit, many users would experience loading delays or odd rendering of the page. Materialscientist (talk) 22:51, 25 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi -- I undid a couple of 4bofus's edits as cosmetic. I am pretty sure this is a blocked user returning; I don't do much anti-vandalism work and can't remember where I saw them, but I think there was an ANI thread about a user with similar weird behaviour last year. See this odd edit summary and this talk page message with an irrelevant link. Both are reminiscent of a previous user. Does this ring any bells? If not, sorry for the unnecessary ping, but I know you do a lot of reverting and I thought you might recall the incident I'm trying to remember. Administrator Edit Request |Dalida

Dear Materialscientist

The Wiki article of Dalida has a template stating: { This article may be written from a fan's point of view, rather than a neutral point of view. Please clean it up to conform to a higher standard of quality, and to make it neutral in tone. (September 2021) }

As a matter of fact; Dalida's official short film and documentary done by Paris Match and featuring her own brother is called: Dalida l’Egyptienne : les premières années.[4]

Many Western fans have been constantly and systematically deleting her Egyptian link, even though her own family members massively document it as a huge part of her identity, till the point that she made a song calling Egypt her homeland.

I tried to make the article as neutral as possible, and not so Western-biased, and is indeed supported by sources.

The Egyptian-born Franco-Italian singer Dalida is renowned worldwide for her top-selling musical records. But in Egypt, she was a national symbol. Before emerging on the French stage, Dalida made her debut in Egyptian cinema. In 1986, Dalida returned to her birthplace to reflect on her past and star in the film The Sixth Day by Youssef Chahine. In this talk, we will follow Dalida’s journey from Egypt to France and back again to make her last film. [5]

Sadly even though I am the one who brought many sources and an official documentary created by her own family members, the neutral-editing of mine was undone by a fan IP-editor before the page got fully-protected. I am kindly asking you to review her family documentary, and edit the article with a more neutral POV. Many Thanks.

'Option (Filmmaking)' edit revert

Hi,

You recently reverted my edit to that ^ page, and I wanted to explain myself.

Firstly, I did leave an edit summary on my main edit, though I understand if it was too general & will be more specific in the future.

Secondly, I made most of the changes because I was heavily rewriting and restructuring the article to try and fix the multiple issues that'd been flagged in the template message. Most of the text that I removed, I restate in other places in the article; and the sections I removed completely were ones that either were redundant, didn't make sense with the information I found, or I couldn't find a source for at all. My smaller edits I made after my main edit were me trying to clean up my HTML, as I realized I could name my references/links and didn't have to use the entire format each time. Thank you.

Deleted two hours' worth of work as I was beginning to cite sources.

I don't know a more reliable source than the man himself. I interviewed Peter McCann on December 21, 2022 in a 3-hour video call. How might I cite this? All of the information is correct, and I've verified it independently. I'd appreciate your advice. For now, I'm undoing this change, as the subject has passed away today and it is important for those inquiring to have a summative source of his life accomplishments available publicly and for free.

Crocheting

I'd be interested in learning your rationale for deeming an actress's hobby of crocheting to be worthy of mention in an encyclopedia. Thank you. 76.14.122.5 (talk) 02:09, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your question is vague, but I have some memories about that revert. All hobbies do characterize a person, especially crocheting: it is used as a stress relief, it requires time, patience and dexterity, is arguably uncommon for urbanized people, etc. Say, if crocheting was a hobby of someone like Hitler, we would see multiple detailed analyses of that, from all angles, especially psychology. My edits to this biography have been removed by you without any explaination. My edits were fairly sourced and I gave summaries except for one I missed mistakenly.

I added Hindko instead of Punjabi because he's from Mansehra in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where Hindko language is spoken. His marriage to the daughter of ex-PM deserves to be in leded because that's the only reason he's known in politics of Pakistan. Further I removed the section on arrest which has two three lines because that's not much important to have a standalone section, it's already mentioned in Political career section. Lastly I added his anti-Ahmadiyya views in the designated section which were well sourced.

So I request you to kindly reinstate my edits. Thanks 37.111.141.88 (talk) 07:38, 30 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Edited Safed's Elevation

Hi,

You definitely are in the wrong. I'm a resident of Safed and live very close to its peak (4 minute walk's worth) which is indeed 936-939 metres, depending on the source. Most altimetres have it at 936-937 and there are maps provided to tourists here in Safed by the municipality which claim that Safed peaks at 939 metres. You don't have to believe a word of mine; just check any altimetre and you'll see for yourself.

Now that I got that out of the way, I'd like to edit the page and this time keep it as is. Thank you. 2A02:ED2:F000:A7A5:1C0B:70FF:FE5B:59A9 (talk) 08:10, 30 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet query

Hello, Materialscientist,

I am looking into disruption on the article Burning of Smyrna and I noticed that you had blocked User:184.179.106.251 for three months on a Checkuser's block. Now there is a very active account, User: 70.164.212.36, who geolocates to the same town and who later created the registered account User:BenjaminStaff. There is a complaint against the new IP editor and registered account at the Edit Warring noticeboard. I'm also wondering if there is any connection with editor User:Utku Öziz who has also edit-warred on that Smyrna article but they might just all be editors with strong opinions about Turkish involvement in the Greek-Turkic war. They seem to be here to RGW. If I knew who a sockmaster might be, I would have filed this at SPI but when I saw you blocked the IP from the same location, I thought I'd come right to you. Thanks for any help you can provide. Liz Read! Talk! 03:25, 31 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

CU logs gave enough reason to block BenjaminStaff, and nothing else. Checkusers are not allowed to discuss user-IP connections, but I saw nothing (that would give a clue) anyway. Materialscientist (talk) 04:37, 31 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I appreciate you doing what you can. Let me know if you know of a sockmaster that is focuses on the role of Turkey in ethnic genocide in Wikipedia articles. Then I'll just head to SPI if this happens again. Thanks again! Liz Read! Talk! 04:58, 31 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello @Liz I see that you have used the word edit warring for my contributions. First of all I have not deleted information but added accurate information. I only reverted them back when other editors deleted the accurate information I added and used Wikipedia rules to prevent such information to be put there. I was actually preparing to add more information but there are many admins such as @MarshallBagramyan and @ZaniGiovanni there who delete my edits and even pictures I have personally taken despite them being accurate information or being already within the article. I am currently very busy with my job and could not do any edits. Because any time I do they will delete or others might conveniently delete so my wife wanted to me to stop giving value to Wikipedia for a while. I do not know the IP addresses above but the information they have given might be accurate I have not checked them personally. Utku Öziz (talk) 13:27, 3 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Materialscientist I came across this conversation while looking for whatever IP User:184.179.106.251 must have done, because User:TimothyBlue, one of the editors who reversed my edits on the Burning of Smyrna article, asked me, inappropriately perhaps, whether I had recently edited with the IP User:184.179.106.251. To my surprise, I found here more than I was looking for, as see my replies here to User:Liz and User:TimothyBlue. Couldn't leave you out, so here is my reply to you as well. While I do not understand why you wrote that you had "enough reason to block Benjaminstaff", who apparently sympathized with my edits but was reversed without an edit summary (what about whoever reversed User:Benjaminstaff? or me for that matter?), I do appreciate your realization that I am neither User:184.179.106.251 nor User:Benjaminstaff, and nor am I User:Utku Öziz nor will I be anyone else until I stop using my IP in lieu of a user name. My feeling, for whatever it is worth, is that technicalities have taken over at the expense of facts and truth in Wikipedia and are being used to no end by certain editors who have no other way of protecting their vaguely "consensus"ed POVs or propaganda. Perhaps we should all make a sincere effort to bring back facts and truth at the expense of technicalities. Thanks. 70.164.212.36 (talk) 08:20, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Liz How come you are so sure of yourself that I "later created the registered account User:Benjaminstaff"? That is a loaded statement, which I find to be biased as apparently you were influenced by editors who find implying a conspiracy easier than discussing edits by people they disagree with. Your apology would be welcome. I do not know about others, but in my case I do have "strong opinions" (your choice of words) about the Burning of Smyrna article and the references to base those on, as well as a good understanding of how anti-Turkish propaganda has taken over that article. I did not understand your phrase "about Turkish involvement in the Greek-Turkic war". Were you expecting Icelanders (my apologies to Icelanders) to be involved when it was the Greek army that invaded western Turkey? Finally, I am concerned about how you have phrased your second post here "Let me know if you know of a sockmaster that is(sic!) focuses on the role of Turkey in ethnic genocide in Wikipedia articles". Exactly what did you wish to imply here? First of all, the article is about the Smyrna fire (I prefer the name İzmir), and any relation to a genocide, whatever that may be, would simply be POV. Why did you feel that you had to associate Turkey with the word genocide in regard to this article, and why are you interested in chasing after editors who oppose anti-Turkish propaganda? Are you neutral as you are supposed to be or are you in sympathy with some people who hijack Wikipedia articles on Turkey and then reverse every opposing edit with trivial excuses and no discussion, in order to propagate propaganda, then hide behind edit-warring and consensus? And, yes, I have more than sufficient evidence of intentional anti-Turkish propaganda, and I will act through the appropriate channels in regard to that when the time arrives. In the meanwhile, I would definitely appreciate a clear explanation of the underlined phrase above.70.164.212.36 (talk) 07:43, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Liz is supposed to be an unbiased and a neutral editor. She is indeed supposed to prevent Anti-Turkish propaganda or any Anti-anyNation and lies to be spread. But as she has referred my edits which include accurate information and even pictures as edit-warring I have high doubts. Plus she also did not mention why she thought me of being you. I would expect and apology from her for accusing me with this. However, she has the power to ban editors from Wikipedia. 70.164.212.36 so for that reason being right does not matter in many cases sadly. You will see that there are many editors who seem to be ban free and edit as bully and collaboratively as possible. So for that reason WP:WINARS . This fact was even voiced by the former founder of the platform where he stated that Wikipedia co-founder says site is now 'propaganda' for left-leaning 'establishment' (nypost.com). At any rate I believe we have a moral responsibility and would be continuing to add accurate information as I believe in this establishments good faith. Utku Öziz (talk) 17:13, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Utku Öziz Happy to make your acquaintance Utku. I will follow your edits whenever I can. While I cannot comment on the "left-leaning establishment" part of the nypost.com article title, it is a provable fact that there are many propagandists, and not only anti-Turkish ones, that freely abuse Wikipedia, at the same time making use of certain perhaps originally well meant rules, to protect their edits at all costs (by getting all "troublesome" editors blocked, for example). Then, some editors whose job appears to be blocking others are persuaded to put technicality before reality (I still cannot see the role User:Liz plays here and I hope that an explanation will be forthcoming). Remember the proverb "if your only tool is a hammer, all problems look like nails." and thus apparently the hammer is used indiscriminately, to the delight of the propagandists, and that is why there was a chorus of "edit-warring" cries in my case (and possibly in yours) and no one in the chorus bothered to use the Talk discussion facility in a proper manner. It is all too easy to reverse edits claiming stuff such as "weak sources"; "POV" etc. without any explanation as to why and then scream edit-warring when the reversal is undone even with a detailed scientific discussion. In fact, WP:CONS says precisely that a reversal without proper discussion is not acceptable, though no one seems to remember that. "Explanations are especially important when reverting another editor's good-faith work."; "The quality of an argument is more important than whether it represents a minority or a majority view." and "Editors who ignore talk page discussions yet continue to edit in or revert disputed material, or who stonewall discussions, may be guilty of disruptive editing and incur sanctions." Perhaps we need to remind those that have sanctioning capacity of these WP:CONS violations that actually come before edit-warring. To sum up, there are the propagandists and there are the gate keepers who are persuaded into believing that there has been some terrible breaking of a universal law (the dreaded edit-warring, e.g.), but one would wish they all abided by WP:CONS. None of this is meant in any way as an affront to those who are doing their jobs properly and as assigned, but to point out weaknesses in the Wikipedia set-up, weaknesses that are easily exploited by propagandists and any enablers they may have. Again, I posted this here for the benefit of all involved (and others), as well as evidence for further action I will take.70.164.212.36 (talk) 19:11, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

African American Heritage Flag

Hello. I've noticed you have changed my work in the African American Heritage Flag.

I made the changes I made for a specific cause. I am African American, I am of descent of African men and women who were enslaved on American soil. I say this because I'd like you to know where I come from and why I have the ability to say what I say. A Black American does not equate to an African American, a Black American is a person who holds nationality as an American. A Black American can be Haitian, Ghanian, French even Japanese as long as they are black and an American national.

On the other hand, an African American is an ethnicity of someone who has an ancestry of Africans abducted from their homeland to serve as slaves in the 13 Colonies or The United States of America. They are two different things, with to different meanings. The African American Heritage Flag represents African Americans and African Americans only. The flag that represents all of us in the Pan African flag.

Scouts Australia

You reverted edits I made to the above article which restored the long-standing version of a paragraph (since 2013). The long-standing version had been changed, without explanation, by user Kcr710 on 1 August 2022 to read differently while still referring to the same sources. One of the sentences was nonsense and suggested a private association "admitted ... British subjects to ... other nationalities"! Why did you delete my whole section on packets? I worked VERY hard on it. This is the second time. Please respond.

Your inappropriate reverts

You restored text that was a copyright violation, from an unreliable source, and was badly-written, and you falsely accused me of vandalism while doing so. You owe me an apology, and you need to start assessing the content of edits instead of just frantically reverting as many as you can. 86.28.234.94 (talk) 07:51, 4 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'd like to report an anonymous vandal using the IP 151.30.229.210 to disrupt some pages, the IP has already been blocked in another language Wikipedia while here it's been reverted and warned but not yet blocked. I see that you're a sysop, could you block this IP please? 5.170.208.39 (talk) 08:26, 4 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

IP vandal getting removed from AIV due to range block

Howdy. I noticed you were actively patrolling at the same time I was working on recent changes and was wondering if you could look into this IP vandal. Several of us have reported them for blanking content but because they are part of a partial rangeblock, the bot on the AIV page keeps removing the reports, which has allowed them to continue. Any help is appreciated. Millahnna (talk) 10:46, 4 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Confusing block for vandalism

Hi-- I was blocked for "vandalism," and I'm really confused as to why. I made an edit in an article in a good-faith effort to try to do a tiny bit of good in the world. Out of nowhere, the page unnecessarily included one of the most hurtful and offensive terms in the English language, one that has done immeasurable harm-- and the inclusion of this term was by no means necessary to convey the meaning. I edited that one word to try to relieve any future readers of some modicum of pain, while retaining the original intent. Did you accuse me of "vandalism" for some political reason, or what? I'm really confused as to how my effort to do good for people could lead me to be accused of such a thing. The "Vandalism" policy says that deliberate harm must be intended for an edit to be marked as "vandalism," and I simply can't understand why you deemed a well-intended effort to ameliorate an unnecessary bit of systemic racism to constitute "deliberate harm." 136.49.226.126 (talk) 07:19, 5 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

In particular, in the cleaned sections of the Durga temple in the 1970s, a new inscription, from c. 700 CE, was found. It was accurately translated by K.V. Ramesh in 1976, later by Srinivas Padigar. This inscription confirmed that the temple was built by Kumara for Hindu deity Aditya (Surya). According to Tartakov's detailed review of the Durga temple, the inertia of the historic interpretations and the repetition of "stereotyped information" from colonial era scholarship has perpetuated the misunderstandings. 2405:201:680B:68AF:95CD:5A19:C434:2E3B (talk) 14:57, 5 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Nicotine Salts Revision

Hi, you seemingly wrongly reverted an edit to the Nicotine salt page. The CNBC article that was used as the sole source for the text I removed from the page was, in fact, deleted from CNBC's website. I feel it's relatively important that we don't potentially misquote figureheads, especially ones that hold public office, so I'm going re-edit the text out. After that point I'll probably forget anyway, so it's no biggie either way. Cheers. 47.17.135.189 (talk) 13:15, 8 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

egypt link

Hi! Its quite premature and unprofessional to discredit the connection, based on opinion, without genetic evaluation of the evidence at hand. We should assume the matter of fact that Egyptians arrived in Australia, and established their village in NSW. The analysis of the glyphs requires proper debate before dismissal and the arguments of the Khemitologists appropriated by default Translated: This is what the 5,000-year-old ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs in Australia say (ancient-code.com)... and of course its racist to do anything else, naive, and an act of war. THE EGYPTIAN HIEROGLYPHS ON THE EAST WALL: [1] FOR HIS HIGHNESS, THE PRINCE, from this wretched place in this land, where we were carried by ship. Engraved for the Crown of Lower Egypt, according to God’s word. [2] My fellow Egyptians call out from this place in this strange land for the god SUTI. I, NEFER-DJESEB, Son of KHUFU, king of Upper and Lower Egypt (beloved by Ptah), has brought the god SUTI. [3] The Prince was kind and benevolent, follower of the SunGod Ra. [4] For two seasons (eight months) he directed us eastward, weary, but strong to the end. Always praying, joyful, and smiting insects. He, the servant of God, said God created the insects to protect his people. [5] I myself am hardened, have gone around hills and deserts, in wind and rain, with no lakes at hand, blessed by the falling nights, when I hide myself, completely out of reach. [6] In our last camp I cooked fowl on hand, and brought rain, but hurt my back carrying the Golden Falcon Standard, crossing hills, desert and pools of water along the way. [7] Plants are withering, Land is dying. Is this our lot from the highest God of the Sacred Mer? [8] The Sun is pouring down upon our back! Oh mighty Khepera, this is not what the Oracle has said. Our Harts are overturned, but not broken. [9] This Regal person NEFER-TI-RU came from the temple of God in Penu, Egypt. He came from the House of God. He was the Son of KHUFU, king of Upper and Lower Egypt. [10] He, who died before, is here laid to rest. May he have life everlasting. [11] He is never again to stand beside the waters of the Sacred Mer. Then clasp him, my Brothers Spirit to thy side, O Father of the Earth. THE EGYPTIAN HIEROGLYPHS ON THE WEST WALL: [12] The snake bit twice. We, followers of the divine king KHUFU, mighty one of Lower Egypt, Lord of the Two Adzes, we shall not all return. However, we have to continue; we cannot look back. [13] All creek and river beds are dry, and we are dismayed. Our boats are tied up with rope. Death was caused by snake. [14] We gave egg-yolk from the medicine-chest, and prayed to Amun, the Hidden One, for he was struck twice. [15] It was a hard time for all of us, weeping over the dead body, and keeping to the protocol. [16] Seated all aside, our men watched the funeral, with concern and deep love. How the mummified body was buried in the Red Earth Section. [17] Then we recovered ourselves. [18] We walled in the side entrance to the chamber, with stones from all around. The chamber was aligned with the Western Heavens. [19] I counted and impounded the daggers of our men. [20] The three doors of eternity were connected to the rear end of the Royal Tomb, and sealed in. Wang tile edit

Hello Materialscientist! You reverted my edit to Wang tile which included an external link to a generator of infinite minimal Wang tilings. The external link contributes to the understanding of the article. The external link visually demonstrates what is discussed in the article but cannot be included within the article itself because it is a HTML5/Javascript demonstration of a Wang Tile. It is similar to the second external link which is also a HTML5/Javscript demonstration, in this case a naive demonstration of a different Wang tileset. However, the new external link which I included in my edit demonstrates a different tiling, the minimal tiling discussed in the first image on the page. And it does so non-naively, showing an actual valid infinite tiling. Thank you for your time. Charming Computer (talk) 11:53, 12 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Pocomoke Indian page

Hello Material Scientist !

I appreciate you reaching out and I would greatly appreciate if you could show me how to put down a source since I am quite new to Wikipedia ; I am a member of this “extinct” community ; I was elected cultural ambassador in July of 2021, and to be frank I am deeply offended you have labeled myself and my community as dead , we are very much alive. My edits were in consultation with one of my tribal council members and I attempted to add our tribal website which lists all the sourced information you could want but this edit was denied. Now I don’t believe you wish to silence native voices or native communities , but I would look forward to your help in how to place sources so that accurate information on my tribal community and my tribal history can be brought into the public eye via Wikipedia.

Hi Materialscientist, hope you're doing well. I noticed you've blocked Travera1 for repeatedly adding unsourced content [6]. While looking through their contributions, after being blocked, Travera1 still edit-warred restoring their unsourced POV edits in the same article and beyond, [7], [8], [9], [10], [11], [12], [13]. Thank you for fixing the Sam Moran page

I know I don’t need to do this, but I would like to say thank you for fixing the edits on the page for Sam Moran. It really helps me as I’ve have to fix that page because of the the edits which you just reverted. I think I know exactly who did those edit because I recognise the pattern in edits, and this user is known for being one of the most notorious users on Wikipedia (as she, yes it’s a female, has a history of creating accounts using her name and a series of numbers (or at least a word next to her name) and has all those accounts permanently blocked). I’m not going to mention her name, but you might know exactly who I’m talking about. Anyway, thanks again for fixing the Sam Moran page. Dipper Dalmatian (talk) 08:37, 16 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. --Finngall talk 18:38, 16 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No, I haven't checked the related AFD and SPI history before moving the article. It is the same actress, but I can't tell if the article was created by a new sock; maybe checkusers who handled those SPIs can tell more. Materialscientist (talk) 21:31, 16 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
