Sommer Ray (born September 15, 1996) is an American social media personality, fitness model,[2] and former competitive bodybuilder.

Sommer Ray was born on September 15, 1996, in Colorado.[3]
Ray's first coach in bodybuilding was her father. She dropped out of high school due to bullying.[4]

Bodybuilding and fitness[edit]
Ray, an American bikini bodybuilder, began her competitive career at the age of 16. She achieved notable success in the 2015 National Physique Committee (NPC) Colorado State Championships, securing first place in both the teenage category and class D. Despite her early achievements, Ray ceased competing after turning 18. She attributed her withdrawal from the sport to the widespread use of performance-enhancing substances within the fitness industry.[5] Ray has been an outspoken critic against the use of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs in bodybuilding.[4][5]
Internet career[edit]
Ray's social media presence experienced significant growth, which she attributed to her relationship with the WorldStarHipHop Instagram page. In addition to her social media activities, Ray co-hosted a podcast with Amanda Cerny titled "OHoney" in 2020.[6][7] The podcast, which originally focused on dating advice, released a total of 50 episodes during that year.
In 2021, Ray became involved in promoting Save the Kids token, a charitable cryptocurrency initiative aimed at providing philanthropic support through blockchain technology. However, the initiative faced controversy when it was revealed to be a pump and dump scheme.
As of July 2023, Ray has amassed a substantial following on social media, with over 25 million followers on Instagram and an additional 12 million on TikTok. [8]

In January 2022, Ray purchased a home in the San Fernando Valley for $1.4 million USD.[9]
