Shitrit, Sheetrit, Shitreet, Chitrit, Chetrit, Chettrit (Hebrew: שטרית, Arabic: شطريت), and the related names Benchetrit, Benshitreet, Ben Shitrit (Hebrew: בן שטרית‎, Arabic : بن شطريت) are Moroccan surnames (family names) of Berber Jewish origin.
