Sadhi Manasa (transl. Innocent people ) is an Indian Marathi language television series which airing on Star Pravah. It starred Akash Nalawade and Shivani Baokar in lead roles.[1] It is produced under the banner of Frames Production. It premiered from 18 March 2024 by replacing Kunya Rajachi Ga Tu Rani. It is an official remake of Tamil TV series Siragadikka Aasai.[2]
Plot[edit]
A world apart separates Meera, a woman devoted to her family, and Satya, a rebellious young man with a troubled past. Meera works tirelessly selling flowers at the temple with her family, while Satya drowns his sorrows in alcohol and fights, constantly clashing with his disapproving mother. Despite their differences, their paths keep crossing, and their dislike for each other grows with each encounter.
Meera's family faces financial hardship and a terrible tragedy when her brother falls in with the wrong crowd and takes his own life. Guilt-stricken, Satya's father, a retired train conductor, proposes a marriage alliance between Meera and Satya, hoping to bring stability to their lives. But on the wedding day, chaos erupts when Meera's greedy brother disappears with the family's savings, leaving Meera with no choice but to marry Satya.[3]
