I suggest the newest articles should be announced at the top. This is a standard practice of all such boards. --Ghirla -трёп- 07:57, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I was just going to suggest this and see Ghirla has beaten me to it. I'll make the changes. --Mcginnly | Natter 19:50, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New articles bot[edit]

Please support my request at Wikipedia:Bot requests#New articles bot. This will save all reporters much time.-- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk  18:10, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There's an experiment at User:AlexNewArtBot to automatically find new articles which are of interest to a specific WikiProject. I've created a ruleset for architecture at User:AlexNewArtBot/architecture, and new articles should appear listed on the portal page here. Please feel free to add new keywords to the ruleset (instructions at User:AlexNewArtBot, or ask me, and give feedback on its accuracy. Warofdreams talk 19:20, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Objection to the way the bot stuff was inserted above manually edits. Probably, it's time to separate the bot list into a separate window (it completely obscures "old" manual list).NVO 19:30, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I was going to say that I think a better idea would be to find out why your article on melnikov wasn't getting identified by the bot and then realised you had rewritten it rather than created it afresh. Really the 'New article announcements' should be just that - we can't include every bit of work being done to architecture articles in this list. --Mcginnly | Natter 10:11, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm unconcerned as to whether the bot's list is at the top or the bottom, or on a different page. However, feedback on its operation would be most welcome. Warofdreams talk 01:33, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Manual listing[edit]

I have been contributing to the manual listing for the past few years but have decided to discontinue this work as AlexNewArtBot is increasingly reliable and the number of page viewers is relatively low. Others are of course welcome to continue adding new articles to the list.--Ipigott (talk) 12:20, 2 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
