Peceli Vosanibola

Peceli Vosanibola is a Fijian politician and member of parliament of Fiji. He was elected to the parliament on the platform of Social Democratic Liberal Party (SODELPA). In 2022, he was charged by Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) on a count charge of providing false information to a public servant (Acting Secretary General of Parliament) for financial gain.[1][2] Vosanibola had allegedly stated in his form that his permanent place of residence was in Navuloa Village, Bureta, in Ovalau, Lomaiviti, and received from the government a total sum of $19,749.50  for travel and accommodation allowances he was not qualified to receive between July 2019 and April 2020 in breach of Parliamentary Remuneration Act of 2014.[3][4]
