Orbit College is a South African football club based in the North West province. They earned promotion to the 2023–24 National First Division after winning the North West Stream A of the 2022–23 ABC Motsepe League, and then proceeding to the final, where they lost 3–1 to Upington City in the final.[1][2][3]

2022–23 SAFA Second Division semi-final[edit]

The 2022–23 SAFA Second Division semifinal between hosts Umsinga United and Orbit College at Harry Gwala Stadium was marred by violence. Orbit College won 1–0, and at the end of the match, fans invaded the pitch, gunshots were fired, while Umsinga United's goalkeeper coach Gezani Zondi was struck on the head and needed medical attention.[4][5][6]
