"Monaco" is a song by Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny. It was released on October 13, 2023,[1][2] as the third single from his fifth solo studio album Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana. It contains a sample of the song "Hier encore", by Charles Aznavour.

Background and release[edit]

The song was written by Bad Bunny. On October 9, 2023, he announced his album Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana, and "Monaco" was included as the second track.[3][4]

Critical reception[edit]

Billboard ranked "Monaco" as the second best song on Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana, calling it "nothing short of an avant-garde fusion".[5]

Audio visualizer[edit]

The audio visualizer was uploaded to YouTube on October 13, 2023 along with other audio visualizers that were uploaded simultaneously with the release of Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana.[6]

Music video[edit]

The music video was released on October 13, 2023, hours after the album's release.[7][8] The video clip starred Al Pacino.[9][10][11]

In the same month, the artist performed the song on Saturday Night Live during an episode in which he held the double role of host and musical guest.[12]
