Miss Cosmo 2024 will be the inaugural edition of the Miss Cosmo pageant, to be held in Phú Thọ Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on 5 October 2024. There will be fifty-nine countries and territories competing.

Background

Location and date

The pageant will take place in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from 15 September to 5 October 2024, with participants from fifty-nine countries and territories.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]‹The template Excessive citations inline is being considered for deletion.› [excessive citations] The Miss Cosmo Organization held a press conference to launch the competition on 11 June 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City.[8] Miss Cosmo licence holders have been officially announced from 82 countries and territories.[9][10]

Prize

The prize includes US$100 thousand in cash (more than VNđ2.5 billion), one year of living in a luxury apartment in Vietnam. The total prizes will be up to US$1 million.[11]

Broadcaster

On 27 August 2024, it was announced that AXN will be the Global Broadcast Partner of the pageant, with the grand finale broadcast on their channel.[12]

Contest regulations

  • These are the requirements for contestants.[13]
    • All contestants must be between the ages of 18 and 30, age cut-off dates may vary by country.
    • Transgender women who are legally identified as women may participate in the pageant.
    • Legal citizenship in the representative country.
    • Not married, no children.
    • No criminal record.

Judges

In this edition, the first panelist to become a judge for Miss Cosmo 2024 is Paula Shugart, the former President of the Miss Universe pageant, one of the Big Four beauty pageants.[59][60][61][62][63]
