Grammar error[edit]

Hi there - not sure who's responsible for the English interface translation on the page at issue here: the Contributions list, e.g. for my username, contains a grammatical error:

  • Javascript-enhanced contributions lookup 0.2 enabled. You may enter a CIDR range or append an asterisk to do a prefix search. For IPv6, you must use capital letters for gadget matching, native contribution matching is not case-sensitive.
  • The final comma is a "splice", and should be a semicolon:

FYI, I also reported this at the fork on mw:MediaWiki talk:Gadget-contribsrange.js (which is what some other projects import from) - also having the same issue (and also appears to have a lack of maintainers). — xaosflux Talk 14:25, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Bbb23 hmm, in checking, it looks like the tool DOES work, so perhaps this isn't actually a problem? For example try https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/Xaosflux_* — xaosflux Talk 14:32, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you put in space*, you get what you did, but if you append an * without the space, which is what the instruction says, it gets hung up because apparently it doesn't stop looking for your contributions once it hits 500. Also, it doesn't work nearly as well as the way I've been doing it up until now. See here (sorry for some of the offensive usernames).--Bbb23 (talk) 15:48, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
