@MusikAnimal: Alongside the IANB conversation, I've made this local, so let me know if it's borked at all. mw:XTools/ArticleInfo.js isn't in MWspace, so any mediawiki.wiki sysop can edit it, as was done recently. That's the guidance at mw:XTools#Installation on Wikimedia wikis, not sure if you'd like to change that there as well. ~ Amory (utc) 09:59, 12 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, good call! I don't have int-admin rights on mediawiki.org but I shall seek assistance. It indeed should live in the MW namespace if we are to advertise it as gadget-worthy. MusikAnimal talk 01:40, 23 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Done Thank you! Mental note to self: make the mediawiki.org version an actual gadget, and have all the other wikis import it so that changes like these are made in a single place. MusikAnimal talk 20:41, 18 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Imported article[edit]

On the imported page User:HILDEMAYER/new article title the editors in its history are shown as de>Hilde Mayer which links to de:User:Hilde Mayer. The gadget links de>Hilde Mayer to [[User:de>Hilde Mayer]] which is a Bad title (The requested page title contains unsupported characters: ">").

Thanks for reporting this! Indeed, XTools has no knowledge of interwiki links and how to resolve them. I'm not sure there's a simple solution, unfortunately, but I'll try to investigate. MusikAnimal talk 16:39, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

CORS error[edit]

This gadget is currently broken for me. I've created phab:T335086 with more details. –Novem Linguae (talk) 03:25, 20 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
