La Provisoria (lit.'The Provisional') is a 2022 internationally co-produced comedy-drama film written and directed by Melina Fernández da Silva and Nicolás Meta.[1] Starring Andrés Ciavaglia, Ana Pauls, Juan Chapur, Sol Bordigoni and Nicolás Juárez.[2] It is a co-production between Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia and France.[3] It premiered on November 17, 2022, in Argentine theaters.[4]

The film was named on the shortlist for Chilean's entry for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film at the 95th Academy Awards,[5] but it was not selected.[6]

Synopsis[edit]

Five young bohemians try to adapt to a life in the city that doesn't convince them when they start living in an old house surrounded by nature. The imminent but uncertain demolition, the spirit of camaraderie, and an austere abundance that floods the house, impels them to continue their path in directions more in line with their inner balance.[7]
