Killer Heat is an upcoming film for Amazon Studios. Directed by Philippe Lacôte and produced by Brad Weston, the film is based on Jo Nesbø’s short story "The Jealousy Man". Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Shailene Woodley, and Richard Madden are set to star.

Synopsis[edit]

On a remote Greek island, twin brothers (Madden) are caught in a violent love triangle. A damaged detective known as “The Jealousy Man” (Gordon-Levitt) is brought in to investigate the case.[1]

The adapted screenplay was penned by Roberto Bentivegna with revisions by Matt Charman. Makeready’s Brad Weston is producing the project, with Faliro House serving as the local production entity. Gordon-Levitt will also executive produce alongside Nesbø, Niclas Salomonsson, Tom Karnowski and Makeready’s Collin Creighton.[2][3]

Filming[edit]

Principal photography began in April 2023.[4] Filming locations include the Greek island of Crete.[5]
