Justine Nabbosa is a Ugandan gospel artist, lead worshiper, and a co-pastor with Pastor Wilson Bugembe at Worship house.[1] She worn the best praise song of the year 2021 at the Royal Gospel music awards 2021.[2] In the 2016, she won the Worship/praise song category for the VIGA Awards.[3]

Background and education[edit]

She was born in Kamuli Eastern Uganda to Mr. James and Mrs. Tappi Kiyingi as their ninth child.[1] She graduated from Makerere University with a bachelor's of Organizational and industrial psychology.[1][4]

Career[edit]

Her music light started during senior four when she met Pastor Wilson Bugembe back in 2002 on his first concert. She was a visitor at Christian life church in Bwaise where she landed on a poster advertising Pr Wilson bugembe's concert [1]Her father being a pastor, Justine grew up teaching Sunday school classes, singing in the choir and leading school fellowships.[5]She started her music career as a backup singer for Pastor Wilson Bugembe. On April 24, 2017, Nabbosa held her solo concert.[1][6]since then her music has touched and transformed as she embarked on preaching through music. She also the president of Next Girl Champion, an annual conference that empowers girls and women in Uganda.[7]

Justine Nabbosa was a nominee for the Royal Gospel Music Awards 2024 in the category for the Best Female Artiste of the Year award.[10]

Personal life[edit]

She is married to Jonathan Muwaganya,[11] a city lawyer who is also born-again. The couple has one child.
