Justine Ojoka Emmanuel (born 13 April 2003) is a Nigerian footballer who plays as a forward for Indian Super League club Kerala Blasters.[3]

Club career[edit]

Kerala Blasters[edit]

Emmanuel was initially scouted by Karolis Skinkys, sporting director of Indian Super League club Kerala Blasters in Nigeria.[4] In July 2023, he joined the club on trial.[5] On 9 August, he was included in the Kerala Blasters squad for the 2023 Durand Cup.[6] He made his competitive debut on 13 August and scored in a 3–4 defeat against Gokulam Kerala in the Durand Cup.[7]

Loan to Gokulam Kerala[edit]

On 1 September 2023, Kerala Blasters announced that Emmanuel had been loaned out to I-League club Gokulam Kerala on a season-long deal.[8] On 8 December he made his debut for Gokulam in a 1–1 draw against Mohammedan SC in the I-League.[9] On 5 November, he scored his first league goal in a 4–1 win over NEROCA.[10]

Following the injury of Kwame Peprah mid-season, Kerala Blasters have recalled Emmanuel back from loan for the second half of the 2023–24 season.[11][12] He made his ISL debut on 2 February 2024, as a 65th-minute substitute in a 2–1 defeat against Odisha FC.[13]

International career[edit]

He was part of the Nigeria national under-20 team camp for the 2023 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.[14]
