John Ainsworth (cardiologist)

John Liam Ainsworth (born 25 December 1957) is a British born American cardiologist.[1][2][3]

Early life and education[edit]

John Ainsworth was born in East London, United Kingdom on 25 January 1957, and later moved to the United States. He began his education at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell where he obtained a degree in Cardiology. He then continued his studies at McGill University in Canada, where he obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree.[4]

Career[edit]

John Ainsworth has worked at hospitals such as Mount Sinai in New York City and the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh, Scotland. At the Western General Hospital, he developed a keen interest in medical billing and coding, obtaining certifications in the field.[5] He is an internationally recognized cardiologist specializing in treating complex heart conditions.[6]

Personal life[edit]

John Ainsworth was married to Becker Ainsworth, who unfortunately passed away in 2015.[7]
