Iva Jovic (born 6 December 2007) is an American tennis player.[1] She won the girls' doubles event at the 2024 Australian Open.

Career[edit]

From Torrance, California,[2] she won the U14 singles event at the Orange Bowl in December 2021.[3]

She was runner-up at the inaugural International Junior Championships held at the site of the famed BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells in March 2023, being defeated by Clervie Ngounoue in the final.[4]

Alongside compatriot Tyra Caterina Grant she won the doubles at the Orange Bowl in Plantation, Florida in 2022 and again in 2023 when they defeated No. 1-seeded Czech paring of Alena Kovackova and Laura Samsonova.[5] Grant, Jovic and Alanis Hamilton played as part of the victorious American team at the 2023 Junior Billie Jean Cup, winning the tournament without dropping a set. In her singles matches, Jovic only lost 26 games in total during her 12 sets played.[6]

With Grant she won the final of the girls' doubles draw at the 2024 Australian Open. The pair did not drop a set in the tournament.[7]
