Islam Aliev (Ислам Алиев; born 18 September 2001) is a Russian Greco-Roman wrestler who currently competes at 82 kilograms of Chechen origin.[1]

Wrestling career[edit]

In 2021 in Rostov-on-Don, he won bronze at the Russian Championship in the 72kg category. In the same year, he became the world junior champion and the winner of the 1st CIS Games.[2]

In 2024, for the first time he became the champion of Russia in the 82 kg weight division.[3] He won the silver medal in the 82 kg event at the 2024 European Wrestling Championships held in Bucharest, Romania.[4]
