Ilias Boutouris (born July 30, 1966) is a Greek author and columnist living in Europe.
Bountouris writes short historical stories on Greek cultural heritage, some of which have already been published in English. He created an archive of forgotten Greek traditional professions, lullabies and nursery rhymes, traditional children's games, customs and traditional Greek cooking recipes since ancient times to the present day. He has published 45 books.[citation needed]
Bountouris's book Once Upon a Time describing 32 forgotten old Greek professions became a best seller.[citation needed] Ilias Bountouris art 40 years (2023), edited by art historian Marina Gonda, discusses his 40-year career.[1]
