Fantasia: An Algerian Cavalcade (L'amour, la fantasia) is a novel by Assia Djebar, published in 1985.

Plot[edit]

The novel tells the story of Algeria from the 1830s to the 1950s.[1][2]

Analysis[edit]

The novel uses official records, oral histories, and personal reflection to tell the story, of Algerian women under colonial rule.[3][4][5]
