I'm not so sure it's widely held at all. There must be several better quotes in Justice#Fairness and Reciprocity#Social sciences and humanities already. If you want to represent the right wing, Milton Friedman's consequentialism is far superior. E.g., "One of the great mistakes is to judge policies and programs by their intentions rather than their results." Epistemology follows Ontology (talk) 21:16, 28 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
