William M. Harrison (1818 – February 15, 1900)[1] was a justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court from 1868 to 1872,[2] and again from 1874 to 1882.

Born in Maryland in 1818, Harrison "came to Arkansas in 1840 and taught school for a year in Chicot County".[2]

He returned to Maryland and taught while studying law.[2]

"From 1852 to 1856, he represented Ashley, Drew, and Chicot Counties in the Arkansas Senate".[2]

He was "elected to the Arkansas House of Representatives in 1860", and voted in favor of a secession convention.[2]

He was elected to the second circuit in 1864, and nominated to the Supreme Court in 1868.[2]

Harrison died at his home in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, at the age of 82.[1]
