The World’s Best is a quarterly print and online general interest magazine [1][2] founded in South Australia, Australia. Initially focusing on books, it is now encompassing a broader spectrum. Its mission is to “curate, celebrate, and elevate the best offerings from our world.” [3]
Content[edit]
In its Award Winners section, the magazine spotlights accomplishments, featuring award-winning individuals, creative works, inventions or brands.[4]
The Best Sellers section is a lineup of bestsellers in literature and entertainment. From thriller pieces to children’s literature, the magazine explores various bestseller lists.[5]
Selections of a genre, theme or niche is presented in the Featured Lists section. The lists tackle books, sports, companies, jobs, food, tourist attractions, among other cultural, personal, and professional topics.[6]
The People’s Choice section highlights topics that appeal to a global audience. It seeks to present the choices shaping our cultural landscape through monthly polls.[7]
Some of the front cover features of the magazine included winners of the BREW Book Excellence Award [8] and other BREW book awards.
Accolade[edit]
The World’s Best is a collaboration between two award-winners - The Chrysalis BREW Project[9] and ALPJ and Sons,[10] which owns and publishes the magazine. In 2022, the magazine received the Stellar Business Award for Best Online Magazine in Australia. [11]
