Sewerslvt (pronounced "sewerslut") (born May 16, 2000), is the name of an Australian electronic music producer, primarily known for her contributions to the genres of Breakcore, Drum and bass, and Jungle. Characterized by her distinctive blend of abrasive beats, synths, and intricate sampling, Sewerslvt has garnered a dedicated following within the underground music scene.

Career[edit]

Sewerslvt's music was part of a new wave of "breakcore" in the 2010s and 2020s featuring elements of ambient music, provocative themes and cyberpunk anime aesthetics.^[1] Many consider her music to be closer to an ambient infused, atmospheric form of drum and bass than breakcore but she is still commonly associated with that genre and was part of a revival of its popularity.^[2] Her music is widely popular and discussed on websites such as TikTok and YouTube, and has been compared to Machine Girl.

Sewerslvt became popular with her breakout songs "Pretty Cvnt" and "Mr Kill Myself". The former gaining over 2.4 million listens on Spotify before its removal two years later in 2022, the latter currently has 7 million views on YouTube and is her most streamed song on Spotify with 9 million streams.

After the death of her girlfriend in 2021, Sewerslvt quit music indefinitely. June has officially stated she has no plans to release any further content under the Sewerslvt name but hinted she may or may not do something under a different brand.^[3] Her final release was titled "Goodbye" and was posted on Spotify in November 2021^[4] She has now deleted all her social media.
