New Town Youth football Club is located in the heart of Accra New Town in the Capital of the country, Ghana.^[1]

History[edit]

The team started by Mr. Henry K. Foli who saw the many talents in Accra New Town and groom them for the well being of the young guys in the community. Mr. Henry K. Foli begun the team in the year 2005.^[2]

Performance[edit]

The team started in the 3RD Division of the Greater Accra Football league and gradually came to dominate the division. The team eventually qualified to the 2nd division in 2011 season after having going through the season unbeaten. New Town Youth Football Club continued to produce quality football and soon dominated in the 2nd Division side having top the league twice in 2012 and 2013 season, but could not qualify during the third round of the Middle League.^[3]

In 2015 the team placed 2nd with the 1st team winning the league by just a goal difference. Till date the club continues to win the heart of the fans in Accra New Town and are currently among one of the best 2nd Division sides in the Greater Accra League.^[4]
