The Balikatin Basketball is a Filipino amateur basketball team based in Montalban. The team competes mainly in the barangay Manggahan, San Rafael, Geronimo and also inter-color basketball leagues in Montalban in different divisions.
History[edit]
2013: The Founding[edit]
In 2013, a group of young men formed a team that can compete in different basketball leagues near in the area called "Balikatin", Wherein they debuted in Geronimo Interzone league.
Background[edit]
The Team previously played in different Basketball Cup throughout the Municipal of Montalban.
In 2017, The Team played in Summit View Basketball cup midget division wherein the team reached semi-final, However the organizers discontinued the games for unknown reason, others says that they pocketed all the money.
In 2019, The seniors squad were the champion in barangay Geronimo's Interzone Basketball senior division, winning against Charmizon.
In 2022, Balikatin Yengskivel seniors squad were the Champion once again in barangay Geronimo's Interzone Basketball senior division, winning against knickers.
In 2023, The Team Balikatin Junior squad played in 1st EHRAI Cup Junior division. They were sponsored by Jerose Enterprise and NRHG Enterprise.
In 2024, The Junior squad used the name "B-Hood" which means Balikatin Hood.
