Dinesh Pratap Singh[1] (born 3 October 1967[citation needed]) is an Indian politician and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Previously, he was a member of the Indian National Congress before defecting to the BJP in 2018.[2]
He is serving as the member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council from 2010. In 2010 and 2016 he was elected as a member of the INC and in 2022 as a member of the BJP.
He also contested for the 16th Lok Sabha Elections against the Congress chief Sonia Gandhi from Raebareli (Lok Sabha constituency) and lost by more than 1,67,000 votes.
