Dimethylsulfone reductase (EC 1.8.1.17) is an enzyme.[1][2] This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction

dimethyl sulfoxide + H2O + NAD+ dimethyl sulfone + NADH + H+

Dimethylsulfone reductase is a molybdoprotein.
