Ravi Kumar Sharma (born 3 August 1987), professionally known as, DJ Ravish, is an Indian DJ, music producer, composer, remixer from Jaipur. He is well known for his popular remixes for Bollywood tracks.[1]
Career[edit]
Ravish was born in Nagaon, Assam, He started his career DJing with private weddings right after graduating school in 2005. Later, He started producing music under "DJ Ravish" alias and eventually led to remixing popular Hindi tracks. He started publishing his live music mixes on his YouTube channel. He currently has over 600+ Club Mixes and remixes on his Channel. Later, He began producing his own remixes on the same YouTube channel.[2][3]
In 2011, He was featured on Bobby Friction's show on BBC Asian Network.[4][5]
His remixes "Amplifier, Saat Samundar, Ya Habibi, Saami Saami, Subha Hone Na De, Jumma Chumma De De" got recognition on YouTube. Later, His remixes were signed to major Indian record labels like T-Series,[6] Eros Now,[7] Aditya Music and more official labels.
He is known for his performances at clubs, cricket events, college events such as in IIM-Bodh Gaya's Elegante 6.0, a four-day festival.[8][9]
In 2016, He opened for Edward Maya during his India Tour at ITC, Bellavista.[10]
He was the Stadium DJ for the Rajasthan Royals in IPL from 2013 to 2019 and during 2nd ODI between India and Australia. In 2014, DJ Ravish performed again as the in-stadium DJ for the Pakistan vs. Australia cricket series and the Pakistan vs. New Zealand cricket series, which were held in Dubai.[11][12]
He was consecutively Awarded as Best DJ of Rajasthan at Rajasthan Fashion Awards for 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 & 2022.[13]
In 2024, He released his track "Jaane Kyu" with model Deepika Singh, which got significant streams within the first week of release.[14][15]
In March 2024, He was again featured on BBC Asian Network with DJ Limelight.[16]
