Cosmetique Asia Corporation, abbreviated as CAC and also known as Cosmetique Asia, is a Philippine multinational consumer goods company headquartered in Quezon City, Metro Manila.[1][2]
The company specializes in the production and distribution of personal care, healthcare, and food products.[3][4]
History
[edit]Cosmetique Asia Corporation (CAC) was founded by Alexander S. Co on September 7, 2001, with the introduction of the company's first product, Silka papaya soap.[5][6] In 2004, the company launched Juicy cologne, marking its first foray into the fragrance industry.[7]
In 2014, the company expanded its product portfolio by entering the alcohol market with the acquisition of Biogenic from The Rogemson Company Inc., followed by Bambini baby cologne and Raven hair spray.[8][9]
In 2018, the company entered the food business with the acquisition of Candyline Food Manufacturing Corporation, which produced confectionery products including Choco Mani.[3][10]
On October 5, 2020, Cosmetique Asia Corporation unveiled a new logo, and making it a leading fast-moving consumer goods company in the Philippines.[11]

[edit]The company's products include personal care brands such as Silka, Juicy, Bambini, Raven, Hair Works, and Define.[5][7][9] It also include healthcare and food brands such as Biogenic, Protect, Choco Mani, Queen Mani, Chatlet, and V-tal.[8][10]
All of these products are available in the Philippines and some other countries.[12]
Operations
[edit]Since 2014, Cosmetique Asia Corporation has been headquartered at the CAC Plaza, which is located in No. 89-91 Sgt. Emilio Rivera Street, Balintawak, Quezon City, Metro Manila. In addition, it has two manufacturing plants across the Philippines, including Malolos, Bulacan, and Imus, Cavite.[1][2] CAC has 110 distribution networks nationwide and operates in over 30 countries internationally.[4]
Other development
[edit]Since 2008, the company's flagship product Silka has been the official sponsor of four national beauty pageants: Miss Silka Philippines (2008–2019),[13] Binibining Pilipinas,[14][15] Miss World Philippines (both 2021–2022), and Binibining Silka (since 2023).[16]
