What's the purpose of this category?[edit]

The category is auto-populated by |spouse= from {{Infobox person}}. The goal is to determine whether the label should be "Spouse" or "Spouses", which is controlled by using |spouse= or |spouses=. There is code in Module:Detect singular that attempts to determine whether an argument represents on thing or many things, but it isn't perfect. So the Lua code detects potential plural arguments, and puts the article into this category, so that some editor can use |spouses= instead of |spouse=. — hike395 (talk) 08:26, 5 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
