Category meaning[edit]

Hi @Pleasantville: What is the meaning of this category? There's currently no description, Wikipedia doesn't have an article about computational notebook, and I didn't see anything relevant on Google.—Laoris (talk) 22:36, 17 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Software that has a digital notebook environment combining text and calculation in a single document. --Pleasantville (talk) 13:39, 18 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Pleasantville: Ok, gotcha. It's important that categories are verifiable, so it would probably be best to define the term on the category page or in an article, and add sources to each categorized article that identify it as a computational notebook. Cheers. —Laoris (talk) 15:32, 18 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I should add some text to the category by way of explanation.--Pleasantville (talk) 16:39, 18 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

As a user of notebooks in my life, I'm attempting to create an article stub that broadly covers this subject area. Any help/critiques would be greatly appreciated! 16:13, 23 November 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheRealPascalRascal (talkcontribs)
