Should this category include "mints" producing other than currency[edit]

The recent rename of this category highlights an issue of membership. As currently defined in the category heading, mints included in this category should be limited to those producing currency. This would seem to rule out organizations like the Danbury Mint or Franklin Mint, which produce forms of exonumia (commemorative "coins" and medals, and such).

I think the category definition should either be expanded to include non-currency producing mints, or, more likely, these organizations should be removed from the category. Rwessel (talk) 01:21, 30 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
