Shouldn't Category:Former British colonies be a subcat of Category:British Empire?

I'm trying to cleanup the cats for French colonialism (which just don't exist), but here we seem to have a parallel structure.

I'm not going to step on any toes by moving your work around, but perhaps someone should look into this... T L Miles 17:00, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

UK-history-stub[edit]

Please make UK-history-stub synonymous with the UK-hist-stub. "hist" is not intuitive. Other history stubs accept "something-history-stubs". I don't think they use "-hist-stub", but I don't know, because "-history-stub" has always worked. I tried all kinds of combinations of UK, England, and British with "history-stub" and nothing worked. So I was left with just "history-stub" which created work for other people who know about the "UK-hist-stub" magic. Whatever possessed someone to make such an obscure stub template and not also make the synonym? Hu 01:35, 8 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
