Shouldn't we subdivide this into "Art museums and galleries in New York City"? There are just enough in this from outside the city that we ought to separate them. Daniel Case (talk) 16:38, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think that's part of a larger discussion on the difference between List of museums and cultural institutions in New York City v. List of museums in New York and this category v. Category:Museums in New York City. We appear to be consistently inconsistent in naming. _{TravellingCari}^{the Busy Bee} 21:29, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
