Done OK, I tracked it down. I had omitted a parameter separator in Template:Year in US state category/core. I fixed in this edit[1].

@BrownHairedGirl: You're welcome. I am active on Vietnamese Wikipedia and create categories there (based on English Wiki category structure) so I always know when something doesn't seem right.Hugopako (talk) 14:29, 20 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
