Category:Huts in Australia

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Across Australia there is a wide variety of huts. These huts are often a relic of the Australian Cattle drover or family farms. In some instances the Huts are used by Scientists or Construction teams. Many of the huts are open to the public and are maintained on a volunteer basis through groups like the Kosciuszko Huts Association. Many of the huts are built prior to the 1960s when many of the areas that the huts are located in started to become National Parks.
