Bob Dobelstein (October 27, 1922 – November 13, 2009) was an American football guard.[1] He played for the New York Giants from 1946 to 1948 and for the Los Angeles Dons in 1949.[2] He was selected by the Chicago Cardinals in the fourth round of the 1945 NFL draft.[3]

In Week 9 of the 1948 season, against the Los Angeles Rams, Dobelstein had a 20-yard interception return for a touchdown in the 52–37 loss.[4]

Death[edit]

Dobelstein died on November 13, 2009, in Lake City, Florida, aged 87.[5]
