Ashot Mkrtychev

Ashot Mkrtychev is a Slovak businessman.[1] He is president of Versor S.R.O., and director of the Defense Engineering Limited Liability Partnership, as well as being the founder of Limited Liability Company Verus.

In 2023 Mkrtychev and three of his firms were sanctioned by the United States's Office of Foreign Assets Control for attempting to arrange an arms deal between North Korea and Russia, to aide in Russia's invasion of Ukraine.[2][3][4] Since the sanctions, Mkrtychev's assets in the United States have been frozen, and his businesses have ceased to operate in the United States.[5]
